At Options Behavioral Health, we are proud to have developed strong relationships with professionals throughout our community, and we always welcome new referral sources.

Common Referral Sources

The following are among our most common referral sources:

  • Hospital emergency rooms
  • Nursing homes
  • Community mental health/outpatient facilities

How to Refer a Client

Referring a client or patient to Options is a matter of one simple phone call. When you contact the Options admissions department, one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff members will collect all necessary information from you and can begin the intake assessment process. Masters level therapists are available around the clock to conduct intake assessments.

Once our intake staff has reviewed the assessment and determined that Options can provide the type and level of care that your client needs, we will immediately begin the admissions process. If we determine that your client would be better served at another treatment center, we will work with you to coordinate an alternate referral.

Treatment Funding

If you have concerns about your client’s ability to pay for our services, please do not hesitate to contact our admissions department. We will be happy to work with your client and his or her insurance provider to identify and access any benefits that he or she may have.

We are able to accept a wide variety of funding sources including most types of Medicare, Hoosier Healthwise (Indiana Child Medicaid), Medicaid, and HIP 2.0 plans such as Anthem and MHS. We also accept most private insurances including Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, and we are able to make out-of-network agreements with other providers.
