Inpatient programs serve a variety of populations ranging in ages from 7 years old through adulthood. The following list provides components and disciplines utilized to offer the best care for our patients:

24 hour Nursing Care & Observation

Discharge Planning
RTC (Residential Treatment Center)
Age 10–18
IQ between 48-80
Male and Female
Must have an acute inpatient stay within the last 6 months
Must have failed out-patient services within the last 12 months
Severe Mental Illness Diagnosis and/or multiple diagnosis on Axis I and Axis II
Clients can be placed by their legal guardians without the need for a court-ordered placement
All clients receive individualized treatment plans, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, medication management (as needed), and attend school at the Options facility
Outpatient Services
Options BHS created an environment to help improve personal health, well-being and quality of life for patients. These programs can help a person transition back to their daily schedule and function at a higher level in daily living. Patients may be directly admitted to the program or transition from inpatient hospitalization.
These programs are designed for patients that need more support and structure than outpatient therapy services and do not need inpatient hospitalization services.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides services during the day and allows patients to return home in the evening. The PHP program is 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a flexible treatment program and allows patients to transition back to their regular daily living schedule. The IOP program is from 8:30am-11:30am Monday-Friday or 12:00pm-3:00pm Monday-Friday.
Costs are covered by many insurance plans including Medicare. Medicare Part B has benefits for the PHP program. The Financial Counselors can help with financial arrangements for the costs not covered by insurance.
Assessment and Referral Services can provide more information about direct admissions to the outpatient programs. Each patient will participate in a preliminary assessment. Most patients can being programming the next business day. Please call to schedule an appointment.
